How can I have a Performeo profile if I am under 18?

At Performeo, we are excited to help Young Actors find roles and opportunities through our platform. To ensure a safe and professional environment, we have specific requirements regarding the age of our users and how accounts for Young Actors are managed.

Age requirement

The Performeo Platform is intended to be used only by Actors who are over the age of 18. This requirement is intended to protect the safety and privacy of children and by using the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Information for Young Actors

If you are an Actor younger than 18 (a “Young Actor”), you are not permitted to access or use the platform directly. This policy is in place to protect your security and ensure compliance with our professional standards.

For a Young Actor to have a Performeo profile, you must use the platform through a representative by following the following steps:

  • You must ask your Performeo-approved Talent Agent to create an account using their own name and email address to access and use the platform on your behalf.
  • The Talent Agent will be required to use their own name and email address during the registration process, but will have the option to set their child’s name as the “stage name” when creating a profile.
  • Performeo may from time to time perform background checks and verify that the Talent Agent and its Authorised Users are who they claim to be and have the right to represent a specific Actor, and if the actor is under the age of 18 that the Talent Agent has the appropriate consent of the person with parental responsibility over the Actor. The Talent Agent shall provide to Performeo promptly all evidence reasonably requested for such background checks and verification. Performeo reserves the right to suspend or terminate Talent Agent or any Authorised User’s access to the Platform if the Talent Agent fails to promptly provide such evidence reasonably satisfactory to Performeo and/or any Talent Agent fails any such checks.
